ENUGU: Group Organises Victory Thanksgiving to Commemorate Gov. Peter Mbah's Triumph, Pledges Continued Unwavering Support Towards His Transcendent Leadership, Vision, and Mission


In a show of gratitude and appreciation, a group of dedicated supporters organized a grand victory thanksgiving outing for His Excellency, Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Governor of Enugu State. The group, known as the Solidarity Alliance for Peter Mbah and Ifeanyi Ossai for good governance, lauded the governor's transcendental leadership, vision, and mission, while urging continued support for his administration.

The thanksgiving service, held to honor Governor Mbah and his Deputy Governor, Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, for their resounding victory in the recently concluded Enugu State governorship election, witnessed an overwhelming display of appreciation. Representing the governor at the event was Barr. Osinachi Nnajieze, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Legal Matters, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Solidarity Alliance for their unwavering dedication throughout the campaign.

During the election campaign, the Solidarity Alliance for Peter Mbah and Ifeanyi Ossai for good governance pledged to show their appreciation to God if the duo emerged victorious. True to their promise, the group used the occasion on June 25th, 2023, to offer their leaders, Dr. Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah and Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai, to God, symbolizing their commitment and gratitude.

In his speech, the governor's representative,  Barr. Osinachi Nnajieze, extended Governor Mbah's deepest appreciation to the Solidarity Alliance and specifically recognized the Chairman of the group's Board of Trustees, Rt Hon. Paul Osondu Nnajiofor (Ononenyi). Nnajiofor's group was hailed as one of the most formidable support groups, and their dedication and support will never be taken for granted, emphasized Barr. Nnajieze.

Further acknowledging the contributions of the Solidarity Alliance, the representative of Governor Mbah congratulated Rt Hon. Paul Osondu Nnajiofor for his remarkable representation of the people of Nkanu East at the Enugu State House of Assembly. Nnajiofor's eight years of meritorious service without any blemish or complaint reflected his commitment to his constituents and demonstrated the strength of the Solidarity Alliance.

In concluding his address, Barr. Osinachi Nnajieze, on behalf of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, urged the Solidarity Alliance for Peter Mbah and Barr. Ifeanyi Ossai for good governance to continue their unwavering support for the administration. A middle-aged woman was reportedly killed today in Enugu, Tuesday, 24th of September 2024, in Nsukka Town in separate incidents involving the notorious Oriokpa masquerades, whose violent activities have continued to instill fear in the local communities. The first casualty, an unidentified middle-aged woman, met her untimely death at Aku Road, Obechara area, Nsukka, after being chased by one of the Oriokpa masquerades.
