The Enugu youth community is filled with excitement as the Kings Care Foundation announces the upcoming Echeribe Enugu East Senatorial Zone Football Tournament. Organized by Dr. Afam Atu (Echeribe), the tournament aims to uncover hidden football talent within Enugu State and provide young players with an opportunity to showcase their skills on an international stage. With the goal of promoting individual talent and elevating the reputation of Enugu State's football scene, this tournament promises to be a transformative initiative.

The primary objective of the Echeribe Enugu East Senatorial Zone Football Tournament is to identify exceptional players who will be given the chance to participate in football trials in Europe. Dr. Afam Atu, the founder of the Kings Care Foundation, firmly believes in the immense talent present in Enugu State and aims to enhance the skills of selected players through exposure to international football standards.

To recognize the participants' achievements and motivate their performance, attractive prizes will be awarded to the top-performing teams. The winning team will receive a prize of 500,000 naira, while the second and third-place teams will be awarded 300,000 naira and 200,000 naira, respectively.

The tournament will feature six teams representing local governments within the Enugu East Senatorial Zone and will follow a group stage and knockout rounds format. The matches will be held at the renowned Umueze Township Mini Stadium in Enugu, providing an excellent platform for aspiring footballers to display their talent.

To ensure fairness and transparency, the Kings Care Foundation has set strict eligibility criteria for team registration. Participating teams must be from the Enugu East Senatorial Zone and consist of players between the ages of 14 and 27 years. The registration period began in June and will continue until July 29th, 2023, with a grace period of two weeks available if needed.

Dr. Afam Atu (Echeribe) and the Kings Care Foundation have a broader vision beyond the tournament. They aim to inspire the youth to pursue their dreams and become leaders in their respective fields. This tournament serves as a stepping stone for aspiring footballers to shine on the international stage and achieve success.

The Kings Care Foundation extends an invitation to the media, football enthusiasts, and the general public to support this transformative initiative. The tournament promises to celebrate local talent, empower youth, and make a positive impact on the community through the beautiful game of football.
