The Kings Care Foundation is commemorating its 7th anniversary, celebrating a milestone of dedicated humanitarian service to the Ndi Enugu community. The foundation continues to reaffirm its unwavering commitment to uplifting the youth, widows, and the downtrodden.

Speaking on his personal journey and the inspiration behind his humanitarian efforts, the founder of the Kings Care Foundation, Dr. Atu Afamefuna (Echeribe) shared; "Drawing from my own experiences of growing up from a poor background, this foundation is established to inspire new leaders and to build a society where no one is left behind,"

"Over the past seven years, the Kings Care Foundation has implemented a wide range of programs focused on education, healthcare, and economic empowerment. These initiatives have profoundly impacted the lives of many individuals in the community, providing essential support and resources" he said.

One of the foundation's admired empowerment programe, called "Mama Thankma," targeted elderly women and men in rural areas who battle various challenges associated with poverty and old age, providing them with basic support. Regular medical outreach conducted across all six local governments in the Enugu East Senatorial Zone, providing essential healthcare services and support to those in need. The foundation's programmes has been lauded for its comprehensive approach to addressing the health and wellbeing of the people, both young people and the elderly, ensuring they receive the care and attention and basic support they deserve.

In addition to its focus on the elderly, the Kings Care Foundation has made significant strides in empowering the youth. The foundation sponsored a half marathon in Enugu State, promoting physical fitness and community spirit among young people. Furthermore, it conducted a football competition with a prize of 1 million Naira, encouraging sportsmanship and providing an opportunity for talented youths to showcase their skills. These initiatives underscore the foundation's commitment to fostering a vibrant and engaged youth community, contributing to their personal and professional development.

While the commemoration continues, the foundation remains dedicated to its mission, reflecting on past achievements and setting ambitious goals for the future. The ongoing celebration is a testament to the foundation's enduring commitment and a call for continued support and collaboration from the community and stakeholders.

Established in June 2017 as a non-profit Organization with primary aim to help rural women and children break the cycle of poverty in their communities, Kings Care Foundation is purred by compassion as a result of the humble background of the founder which has set the foundation's objectives solely on giving voice to the voiceless and ensuring that the dream of every young Nigerian irrespective of tribe and religion is not foiled by the overwhelming hardship he or she is born into.
