The Enugu Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Agency has marked a significant milestone in its mission to empower the youth of Enugu State with vocational skills. The enthusiasm and dedication displayed by these trainees in the classroom are commendable. Their commitment to learning and hard work is palpable, reflecting the high level of focus that characterizes their training sessions. The Enugu SME Agency believes that such milestones are worth celebrating with the entire Enugu SME community, as they represent the initial steps toward building a skilled workforce in the state.

In a statement, the agency extended heartfelt thanks to His Excellency, Dr. Peter Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, for prioritizing vocational skills development in his administration. His commitment has created a nurturing environment that is essential for the growth and development of Enugu’s youth, ensuring that they have access to opportunities that can shape their futures.

The agency also recognized the invaluable support of the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), the Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), and the C-STEMP Skills Training Centre. These partners have played a crucial role in the success of the vocational training programs, contributing resources, expertise, and support that have enhanced the training experience for the participants.

As the Enugu SME Agency continues to work towards a brighter future for the youth of Enugu State, it remains committed to fostering an environment where young people can acquire the skills necessary to thrive in the industrial sector.
