Condolences are pouring in for multi-award-winning Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, as she announces the passing of her beloved father.

The actress shared the heartbreaking news in a heartfelt tribute on Instagram.

Describing her father’s passing as her hardest social media announcement, she fondly remembered him as a great cheerleader and her first love.

Keeping the circumstances surrounding his passing private, she stated that he will forever remain in her heart, describing his departure as an angel returning home.

Her post reads:

“This post has been the hardest to make. I have lost my greatest cheerleader… My Beloved Father, My first Love. The Heavens have gained an Angel. 😇 You will forever remain in my heart. Rest on, King 💔😭.”

In a chilling incident that occurred on Wednesday, September 19, 2024, a woman's life was saved after her desperate cries for help exposed an alleged ritual attempt in an Abuja hotel. The scene unfolded at Top View Hotel, Wuse Zone 5, where hotel staff rushed to rescue the woman from a harrowing ordeal. According to witnesses, the woman's screams were heard from one of the hotel rooms, prompting hotel staff to act swiftly. When they entered the room, they found the woman completely naked, her hands and legs bound with sellotape, which also encircled her neck. Her screams had alerted the employees just in time, preventing what could have been a tragic outcome.
