IMT Leads Celebration of Gov. Peter Mbah's Supreme Court Victory. "We Cannot Hide Our Joy, It has Ended In Praise" Says Rector
The Institute of Management and Technology (IMT) in Enugu is immersed in joyous celebrations today as Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah emerges victorious at the Supreme Court. The entire management team, led by Rector Prof. Augustine Uchechukwu Nweze, PhD, released a statement expressing profound joy and extending heartfelt congratulations to the Governor.
Prof. Nweze attributed the triumph to divine intervention, declaring, "It is the Almighty God at Work." The Supreme Court's verdict, delivered today, dismissed the appeal seeking to annul Governor Mbah's election. This reaffirms the decisions of both the tribunal and the Court of Appeal, upholding the Independent National Electoral Commission's declaration of Mbah as the winner of the March 18th Governorship election.
The Court of Appeal had earlier, on November 10th, unanimously upheld Governor Peter Mbah's position, dismissing all concerns raised by the opposing party. Prof. Nweze encapsulated the Institute's joy, stating, "We cannot hide our joy; it has ended in praise. It is time for the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, to concentrate on the good work he has started in Enugu State."
This resounding victory at the Supreme Court marks a significant milestone, ensuring the continuity of Governor Peter Mbah's leadership and commitment to the welfare of Ndi Enugu. The celebration at IMT reflects the broader sentiments of the people, solidifying the Governor's position as a leader dedicated to the progress and prosperity of Enugu State.
