Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi's Free Surgery Programme Saves 24-Year-Old Girl with Complicated Right Complex Ovarian Mass and Multiple Uterine Fibroid, three Others with Different Surgical Conditions.

 


Four individuals were saved by the former Governor's Humanitarian Healthcare Project, the Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme's 30th seriesof their 2024 Surgical Intervention carried out on the 17h of April at Julius Ajogwu Memorial Hospital, Nsukka. The four beneficiaries who were once plagued with different surgical conditions were restored and the medical financial burden lifted from them.

The beneficiaries took time to express their heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi and the Medical Team led by Dr. George Ajogwu.


1. Onyedika Ugwuanyi 08148405045 from Alor-ulor had a case of Right inguinoscrotal hernia with associated Hydrocoele and was corrected.

2. Ugwuoke Ogechi 08031902618 had a case Right complex breast lump and Lumpectomy done.

3. Aniebonam Micheal 08032984298 from Nkpologu had a case of left Inguinoscrotal hernia and Right inguinal hernia and was corrected.

4. Chinedu Promise 07044536018 from Nsukka LGA had a case of Right ovarian mass and multiple uterine fibroid and Appendicitis and Exploratory laparotomy was done.


While responding to the newsmen, The Director-General of Gburugburu Free Surgery Programme, Dr George Ajogwu, thanked the former Governor, His Excellency Rt Hon Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for using the Gburugburu Free Surgery to save lives in Enugu, a gesture Dr. Ajogwu described as a way of supporting the good governance of the current Governor, His Excellency Barr Peter Mbah and His Deputy, His Excellency, Barr Ifeanyi Ossai.
