BREAKING: Gunmen Abduct Kill APC Chairman

 


Gunmen on Wednesday abducted and killed the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Suru Local Government Area of Kebbi State, Alhaji Bako Bala. The tragic incident occurred in Bala's hometown, where the assailants reportedly kidnapped him and later shot him, leaving him critically injured.

According to a post on the official Facebook page of Alhaji Zaidu Bala Kofa Sabuwa, the Special Adviser to the Kebbi State Governor on Television and Radio, the armed men targeted Bala, fatally shooting him and abandoning him in a pool of blood. He was quickly rushed to the Federal Medical Centre in Birnin Kebbi, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday.

This shocking event has sent waves of grief and concern throughout the local community, sparking renewed concerns over the state of insecurity in the region. Authorities are expected to intensify their efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.

This marks yet another grim episode in the ongoing security challenges facing Kebbi State, which has seen a surge in violent crimes, including abductions and killings, in recent times.
