Yahoo Boy Allegedly Apprehended With Girlfriend’s Head In Nasarawa

 

A shocking incident occurred in Agwan Sarki Orozo, Nasarawa State, near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), where a middle-aged man, suspected to be an Internet fraudster or ‘Yahoo boy,’ was apprehended with the severed head of his girlfriend in a polythene bag.

The arrest followed an intelligence tip-off, which led security agents to an uncompleted building in the area. During questioning, the suspect allegedly confessed to the crime and revealed that the rest of the victim's body was at his residence.

Comrade Abwami Nuhuson Daniel, the Secretary of Orozo Community, shared the shocking details on his Facebook page. He wrote, “I got the shock of my life as we apprehended a ‘Yahoo’ ritualist with a human head (his girlfriend) inside a nylon in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, FCT.” He further added that the suspect mentioned the remaining body of the girl was still at his house, and concluded his post by saying, “God have mercy on this generation.”

Efforts to reach the Nasarawa State police command for comments at the time of filing the report were unsuccessful.

This gruesome discovery has raised concerns over ritualistic killings and the involvement of Internet fraudsters in such heinous acts.
