BREAKING: 300-Level Gen-Z Varsity Student Bites Lecturer For Interrupting Dance Challenge Video Recording in School

A shocking video has surfaced showing a confrontation between a student and a lecturer at Nnamdi Azikiwe University (Unizik), after the lecturer interrupted the student's dance video recording.

The incident took place in a corridor within the student's department. The student, who was filming herself dancing, was approached by Dr. Chukwudi Michael Okoye, a lecturer from the Faculty of Arts, who politely tapped her and said, "Excuse me."

In the video, the student is seen glaring at Dr. Okoye before expressing her frustration, saying, "Can you imagine? He just hit me."

The situation escalated when the student physically confronted the lecturer, with several other students gathering around to witness the altercation. In another video clip, the student is seen grabbing the lecturer, while Dr. Okoye raises his hands, indicating that he was not touching her in any way.

According to a statement attributed to Dr. Okoye, which has been widely shared on WhatsApp groups within the university, he heard the student insult him after passing by. Upon hearing the insult, he allegedly returned to the scene to check if the student was one of his pupils. It was during this interaction that he reportedly reached for her phone, leading to the student biting him on both arms in defense. Photos shared by news outlets show visible bite marks on Dr. Okoye's arm.

The student involved in the incident is a 300-level student of History and International Studies. It has also been revealed that she is the daughter of a female lecturer in the Engineering department at Unizik.

The incident has sparked widespread discussion on social media and raised concerns over student-teacher interactions on campus. Further updates are awaited as investigations continue into the matter.
