BREAKING: Dangote Refinery Crashes Petrol Price

Dangote Petroleum Refinery has announced a reduction in the ex-depot price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol, from N950 to N890. This price cut will take effect from Saturday.

In a statement, the company explained that the adjustment is a result of favorable trends in the global energy sector and a significant drop in international crude oil prices. This move aligns with Dangote Refinery’s c to responding to market changes and ensuring that consumers benefit from fluctuations in global oil prices.

The company emphasized that the price reduction will lead to a decrease in the cost of petrol nationwide, which is expected to positively impact the cost of goods and services, ultimately lowering the overall cost of living in the country. This, in turn, will have a ripple effect across various sectors of the economy.

Dangote Refinery also urged marketers across the country to ensure that the price reduction is passed on to consumers. Additionally, the company reaffirmed its support for Nigeria’s economic recovery plan under President Bola Tinubu, focusing on self-sufficiency in refined petroleum products and making Nigeria a leading oil export hub.
