Breaking News: Enugu State Govt Denies Involvement in False Allegations of Certificate Forgery Claims Against Chief Uche Nnaji
The Enugu State Government has dismissed reports linking it to the ongoing certificate forgery allegations against the Minister of Innovation, Science and Technology, Chief Uche Nnaji, describing such claims as false and misleading.
In a statement released on Monday in Enugu by the Director of Information in the Ministry of Information and Communication, Mr. Chukwuemeka Nebo, the state government maintained that it has no hand whatsoever in the controversies surrounding the Minister’s academic records.
The Enugu State Government dissociates itself completely from these allegations.
The government further reaffirmed its commitment to transparency, accountability, and truth, noting that it would not engage in any act capable of tarnishing the image of any individual or the state.
It therefore urged members of the public to disregard attempts to link the Enugu State Government to the certificate forgery allegations, describing such moves as a desperate effort to politicize a personal issue.
The statement concluded by emphasizing that the state government remains focused on delivering good governance and supporting President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration in advancing innovation and development across Nigeria.
