ANINRI REJOICES - An Official Letter Of Gratitude to Distinguished Senator, Engr. Osita Ngwu

Dear very esteemed and distinguished Senator Engr. Osita Ngwu, on behalf of my family, and the entire good people of Aninri, I want to deeply appreciate you for the appointment of our son Engr. Okoro Emmanuel whom we all know as Elder Statesman. 

As the Chairman of Aninri, I have come to realize from every waking hour of my day, that there is no downside to putting the people first. You have put Aninri first by this singular gesture therefore from one public servant to another, I can assure you that Aninri will always put you first in everything we do. 

Elder Statesman Engr. Emmanuel Okoro is a young man that typifies humility, doggedness, adaptable, and acute loyalty. His commitment to good governance, vision, clear headedness, and adeptness in grassroots mobilization was part of what you saw when you made him the Aninri DG of your campaign organisation during the electioneering process. Our great party the PDP also saw all that sterling quality in him and made him PDP Aninri collation officer for his Excellency Gov. Peter Mbah and all the other contestants under the bright and beautiful umbrella of the PDP. These shows that Elder Statesman is trustworthy, committed and Unrepentatly loyal. 

Ability takes a man to the top but character retains him there. Distinguished Senator, your character is not alien to any of us. That is why you have steadily rising from humble backgrounds and broke the glass ceiling in corporate business, employing scores of people and changing lives along the way. You have taken this same methodical character trait to the highest echelon of legislative politics and in days, we have started seeing the results. Thank you distinguished. 

As a local government and a people, we are confident that this appointment of our son, will open the floodgates for infrastructural development in Aninri. We are also committed to raising the bar of growth and development n Aninri. We are already overhauling the entire education system in Aninri to standard systems where our children can learn and be the best. We are electrifying the entire Aninri one community at a time. We have made Aninri the most secured local government in Enugu by building a heavily fortified military base in Oduma. We are making sure to revitalize the health facilities in Aninir so that our people can have access to affordable and efficient healthcare services. Distinguished, we are only just getting started. 

We thank you again and wish you great success in the red chambers as you legislate for the betterment of Enugu West. With you there, we can be rest assured that Enugu West will be roaring with infrastructural development and you will build better on the solid foundation already established by your capacity predecessor.

Again, Oriokpa Masquerades Kill Another Innocent Woman in Enugu

A middle-aged woman was reportedly killed today in Enugu, Tuesday, 24th of September 2024, in Nsukka Town in separate incidents involving the notorious Oriokpa masquerades, whose violent activities have continued to instill fear in the local communities. The first casualty, an unidentified middle-aged woman, met her untimely death at Aku Road, Obechara area, Nsukka, after being chased by one of the Oriokpa masquerades. In an attempt to escape, she ran into a moving truck and was killed instantly, causing widespread panic and horror among onlookers.
