The management of Abubakar Tatari Ali Polytechnic (ATAPOLY), Bauchi State , has commended the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) for its sustained intervention in supporting students and promoting access to quality tertiary education. The commendation followed the latest disbursement of ₦12,394,601 to 242 ATAPOLY students for the 2025/2026 academic session, bringing the Polytechnic's cumulative NELFUND receipts for the session to ₦89,602,556 . Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has lauded President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration for introducing the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), saying the initiative is creating greater opportunities for Nigerian students to access and finance tertiary education.   The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has confirmed the receipt of ₦21,540,800 from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) to support 226 students during the 2025/2026 academic session. The university's Registrar, Bimpe Omoyiwola, fcpm , disclosed the development in an official acknowledgement addressed to the NELFUND Managing Director and dated August 3, 2026 . The payment was made through two tranches. A total of ₦19,118,700 was disbursed for 200 students, while another ₦2,422,100 was provided for 26 students, bringing the combined beneficiaries to 226.
