Enugu State Gears Up for Dry Season Rice Farming with Federal Ministry Inspection
The recent inspection of rice fields in Enugu State by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security holds great significance as the state aims to become a thriving center for agricultural production and economic growth under the visionary leadership of Governor Peter Mbah. This inspection encompassed extensive rice fields in the Nkanu East Local Government Council, including the previously mentioned Owo, Ubahu, and Amankanu rice fields. Furthermore, neighboring rice fields in Imeoha Community in Nkerefi were also examined, revealing an impressive 3,000 additional hectares of rice fields.
