Enugu Ex-Lawmaker, Rt. Hon. Chinedu Nwamba Crowned "Nwachimereze 1 of Udi Ancient Kingdom" in Majestic Ceremony


Former Enugu State House of Assembly Speaker Honored for Exemplary Leadership and Cultural Preservation in a grand ceremony at the historic Udi Ancient Kingdom. Rt. Hon. Chief Chinedu Nwamba, esteemed former Speaker of the Enugu State House of Assembly, was ceremoniously bestowed with the esteemed title of "Nwachimereze 1 of Udi Ancient Kingdom" by the revered His Royal Majesty Igwe Sam Aneke.

Termed as "the light that illuminates in the Society," Chief Nwamba's chieftaincy title serves as a symbol of acknowledgment for his remarkable contributions to Igbo cultural preservation, humanitarian endeavors, and exemplary leadership during his tenure in the state assembly.

Enugu State Governor, Chief Judge, President of Customary Court of Appeal, and Judges of Enugu Judiciary receive remains of Justice C. C. Nweze in Enugu

Tears flowed freely as the remains of the late Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Chima Centus Nweze, (PhD), FCIArb, arrived Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu, on Thursday, August 3, 2023, preparatory to his final burial rites. The corpse which was flown in through a chartered flight arrived Enugu around 10:30 am, and was accompanied by the late Justice's younger (and only) brother and Rector of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu, Prof A. U.
