In a press release signed by AWGA's Founder and Global Leader, Ambassador Mrs. Amaka Nweke JP, the Assembly conveyed its enthusiasm about the promise these newly appointed officials hold for local governance. AWGA sees their elections as a pivotal step toward fostering impactful changes in the 21 local governments, with the hope that their leadership will drive development and unity within their communities.


AWGA expressed deep appreciation for Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo's progressive approach to governance, particularly his efforts in championing women's empowerment and inclusion in decision-making processes. "We commend Governor Charles Soludo for his commitment to women’s empowerment and for actively involving women in the decision-making process," read the statement.
