BREAKING: APC Expels Former Minister!

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially expelled former Minister of Interior and ex-Osun State Governor, Rauf Aregbesola, due to alleged anti-party activities.

Aregbesola, who led a faction within the APC known as "The Osun Progressives," later rebranded as the Omoluabi Caucus, had been under investigation for actions that allegedly undermined the party’s unity.

A letter from the APC leadership confirmed the expulsion, accusing Aregbesola of breaching the party's constitution. The decision follows the Omoluabi Caucus’ recent announcement of their exit from the APC, citing the party’s declining influence in Osun State.

The letter emphasized that Aregbesola’s actions were detrimental to the party's integrity, and he is now barred from holding himself out as a member of APC or acting on behalf of the party.
