Man Caught with CCTV Stealing Wine From Supermarket To Celebrate His Birthday



A man has been apprehended while stealing ‘Campari’ in a supermarket along Aka Etinan Road in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State.

After being caught in the act, the man was beaten up and stripped by the mob before he was handed over to the authorities.

Upon interrogation, the man disclosed that he had stolen the drink in order to celebrate his birthday. The incident took place in a supermarket located in a busy area of Uyo, where the thief was caught by store security after attempting to leave without paying for the bottle.

  There has been widespread outrage following the emergence of a disturbing video showing security operatives assaulting a female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra State.
