SSA on Market Liaison, Traders, Visit Proposed Ezeagu Modern Market, As traders Hail Governor Peter Mbah’s Development Strides

Encomiums were poured on the Governor of Enugu State, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah by the traders and market leaders at the Afor Iwollo Market in Ezeagu Local Government Area, when the SSA to the Governor on Market Liaison, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mba paid them a scheduled visit on Thursday, 20th March, 2025.

The traders expressed utmost satisfaction with the speed and quality of Infrastructural development of the community and the entire LGA by the Governor who is not only building smart schools in every Ward in the LGA but has also changed the face of Ezeagu Local Government through massive road construction and rehabilitation projects.

They promised to continue to perform their civic responsibilities, pay their taxes and remain law abiding, while drawing the Governor's attention to areas that they need his intervention, support  and assistance. 

Hon. Chinedu Mba extended the Goodwill message of the Governor to the traders and promised to relay their requests to the appropriate authorities, as he took time to listen to the traders and their requests . 

The scheduled visit which began with a brief courtesy call to the Chairman of the Local Government, Hon. Dr. Vitalis Ndu and the Igwe of Iwollo Community, His Royal Highness, Igwe Ralph Okolo, of Iwollo Autonomous Community.

Ended with the visit to the proposed site of the Ezeagu Modern Market, where the traditional Ruler and the community stakeholders expressed their desire for the Governor to assist in developing the market.

In a chilling incident that occurred on Wednesday, September 19, 2024, a woman's life was saved after her desperate cries for help exposed an alleged ritual attempt in an Abuja hotel.
