The Special Adviser to the Governor of Enugu State on Political Matters, High Chief Hon. Frank Anioma (Ezesinachi), has commended the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, for his outstanding and transformational leadership style that has redefined governance and restored public confidence in leadership across the state. Speaking during the G17 Stakeholders’ Meeting held at the Destiny Event Centre, Enugu, on Wednesday, 9th October 2025, Anioma applauded the Governor’s visionary administration, which he described as “a golden era of infrastructural rebirth, economic innovation, and inclusive governance.”

High Chief Anioma, a renowned political strategist and respected grassroots mobilizer, described the G17 movement as “a credible political force of unity and progress” and expressed delight over its collective decision to endorse Governor Peter Mbah for a second term ahead of the 2027 general elections. According to him, the group’s action reflects the overwhelming approval of the people of Enugu State, who have witnessed unprecedented transformation under the current administration.

“Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah has redefined what purposeful leadership means. His administration has delivered visible results in infrastructure, education, water provision, agriculture, and digital transformation. His achievements have spoken louder than politics, and the people’s endorsement through G17 is a testament to his outstanding performance,” Anioma said.

He further lauded the Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah-led G17 for its unwavering support and strategic grassroots mobilization in promoting the Governor’s developmental vision. Anioma emphasized that the group’s strength lies in its unity, credibility, and deep connection with the people, urging members to remain steadfast in consolidating the gains already achieved under Governor Mbah’s leadership.

The meeting, attended by top government officials, traditional rulers, market leaders, youth organizations, and women groups from across the 17 Local Government Areas of the state, witnessed a resounding endorsement of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for a second term and his crowning as the Grand Patron of G17 — a recognition reserved for visionary leaders who exemplify service, innovation, and excellence.

Speaking earlier, the Convener and State Coordinator of G17, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah (Nwakibie N’Nkanu), reaffirmed the group’s total loyalty and commitment to the Governor’s transformational agenda, describing Mbah as “a reformer and visionary leader whose leadership has restored Enugu’s pride.”

The event concluded with thunderous applause as participants vowed to sustain grassroots mobilization and ensure the Governor’s re-election in 2027, affirming that “tomorrow is truly here” under the leadership of Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.
