G-17 Celebrates Chinedu Mbah’s Appointment, Applauds Governor’s Merit-Driven Leadership

 

The G-17 Grassroots Mobilisation Force for Governor Peter Mbah has congratulated its Convener and Board of Trustees Chairman, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah, on his recent appointment as a Member of the Enugu State Committee to Review State-Controlled Taxes and Revenues by the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.

In a congratulatory message issued in Enugu and signed by G-17 Legal Adviser, Barr Marcel Nnachetam, the group described the appointment as a befitting recognition of Hon. Mbah’s steadfast commitment to grassroots governance, administrative excellence, and his pivotal role in supporting the Governor’s economic reforms. They applauded Governor Mbah for identifying a leader whose track record, competence, and practical understanding of market dynamics will add immense value to the Committee’s mandate.

G-17 noted that Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah, who also serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Market Matters, has distinguished himself through effective coordination of traders, harmonisation of market leadership structures, and the successful resolution of age-long disputes that once hindered market growth and stability. They described him as a bridge-builder whose grassroots presence and administrative discipline have consistently strengthened government–citizen relations across communities.

As the Convener of the G-17 Grassroots Mobilisation Force for Governor Peter Mbah, Hon. Mbah has led one of Enugu’s most formidable political movements renowned for deep-rooted community engagement, unity of purpose, and unwavering defence of the Governor’s transformational agenda. Members reaffirmed that his new appointment reflects not just personal merit but also the influence and credibility of the G-17 movement within the broader political landscape of the state.

The group commended Governor Mbah for rewarding competence and for ensuring that individuals with proven capacity are entrusted with responsibilities that directly impact economic reforms and revenue optimisation. According to the message, the Governor’s decision to appoint Hon.
