Igbo Etiti Youths Congratulates Hon. Chidera Odo on His Appointment as Chairman, Enugu State Roads Fund



The Igbo Etiti Youth has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Chidera Odo following his appointment as Chairman of the Enugu State Roads Fund by the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah.


In a statement released to mark the appointment, the youth body described the selection of Hon. Odo as a testament to his proven leadership qualities, dedication to public service, and commitment to the development of Enugu State. They noted that his appointment comes at a critical time when sustainable road funding and infrastructure development remain central to the state’s economic growth agenda.


The Igbo Etiti Youth expressed confidence that Hon. Odo will bring professionalism, accountability, and innovation to the management of the Enugu State Roads Fund, thereby supporting the administration’s vision of improved road networks and enhanced connectivity across urban and rural communities.


The group further pledged its support and cooperation, assuring Hon. Odo of the goodwill of youths in Igbo Etiti Local Government Area as he undertakes this important responsibility.


They concluded by wishing him a successful tenure and praying for wisdom and strength as he contributes to the continued progress and development of Enugu State.

  There has been widespread outrage following the emergence of a disturbing video showing security operatives assaulting a female member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Anambra State. The victim, identified as  Jennifer Edema Elohor , was seen in the viral video being flogged and stripped naked by gun-wielding men believed to be members of  Operation Udo Ga-Achi , also known as the  Agunechemba Vigilante Group .
