GOOD NEWS! Enugu Tech Festival Partners TD Africa to Launch 50% Subsidised Laptop Ownership Scheme


In a major boost for digital inclusion and technology access, the organisers of Enugu Tech Festival 2.0 have announced a strategic partnership with TD Africa to roll out an innovative Laptop Ownership Scheme for participants of Nigeria’s biggest tech gathering.

The initiative, unveiled ahead of the highly anticipated festival scheduled for February 24th–27th, 2026, is designed to remove one of the biggest barriers to digital growth, access to quality devices.

Under the scheme, brand-new laptops will be subsidised by 50 percent, courtesy of the Enugu Tech Festival. Even more remarkable is the flexible repayment structure attached to the remaining 50 percent balance. Beneficiaries will be allowed to spread payments across a minimum of three months, making laptop ownership easier and more affordable than ever before.

According to the organisers, the first instalment will range between 20 percent and 40 percent, giving beneficiaries the flexibility to choose a convenient starting payment plan.

This groundbreaking intervention aligns with the bold vision of Enugu Tech Festival 2.0 – The Next Big Thing, which is expected to host over 50,000 attendees, including global investors, startups, exhibitors, and digital builders converging in Enugu for four days of innovation, training, and opportunity.

With world-class instructors, including experts from 1Goal Analytics UK, and now a practical laptop acquisition scheme powered by TD Africa, the festival is not just talking about digital transformation, it is actively enabling it.

Industry observers describe the partnership as a game-changer that will empower students, young innovators, tech entrepreneurs, and aspiring digital professionals to fully participate in the innovation economy.

As anticipation builds toward February, Enugu is steadily positioning itself as a rising technology hub, one that is not only hosting conversations about the future but investing directly in the tools that will power it.
