Compassion in Action: Peter Ndubuisi Mbah’s PNM Care Initiative Brings Lifesaving Geriatric Outreach to Remote Agu Umabor Community

 





In continuation of our geriatric medical intervention in rural communities across Enugu state, Peter Ndubuisi Mba free Geriatric medical Team PNM CARE Initiative took free Geriatric medical outreach to Agu Umabor community,one of the remotest communities in Nsukka local government on 16th February 2026


We  offered array of services tailored to the needs of older adults. Men benefited from Digital Rectal Examination (DRE) and Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) testing for early detection of prostate issues. All participants receive random or fasting blood glucose testing, blood pressure measurement, cardiovascular risk assessment, urinalysis, rapid Hepatitis B surface antigen screening with vaccination for those testing negative, malaria rapid diagnostic testing and treatment, and comprehensive dental examination with basic treatments including scaling, fillings, and extractions. On-site Pharmacists dispensed essential medications such as antihypertensives, antidiabetics, analgesics, antibiotics, antimalarials, and more, while complicated cases are referred to partner secondary and tertiary facilities for continued care.


PNM Care Initiative is a team of young medical and social professionals in love with the transformational reforms of his Excellency Dr Barr Peter Ndubuisi Mba in Enugu state.
