ENUGU: Hon Dr Chinedu Mbah Led G-17 For Peter Mbah Congratulates Gov Mbah on SUN Man of the Year Awards

 


The G-17 Support for Peter Mbah, a formidable grassroots political mobilisation platform in Enugu State, has poured glowing encomiums on the Executive Governor of Enugu State, His Excellency, Barr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, over his conferment with the prestigious SUN Man of the Year 2025 Award, describing the honour as timely, meritorious and richly deserved.

In a congratulatory message issued on Sunday in Enugu, the group, led by its Convener and Board of Trustees Chairman, Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah, commended Governor Mbah for what it described as his exceptional development strides, bold reforms and innovative governance philosophy that have repositioned Enugu State on a fast lane of sustainable growth and national relevance.

Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah, who also serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor of Enugu State on Market Matters, stated that the SUN Man of the Year recognition is a clear testament to Governor Mbah’s visionary leadership, uncommon courage in decision-making, and people-oriented policies, which continue to deliver measurable results across critical sectors of the state’s economy.

According to him, the Governor’s administration has redefined governance through strategic investments in infrastructure, market reforms, urban renewal, security, education, healthcare, and economic revitalisation, stressing that Enugu is today witnessing a transformation anchored on planning, accountability, and innovation rather than rhetoric.

He noted that the award, presented in Lagos, goes beyond personal acclaim, describing it as a collective victory for Ndi Enugu, whose renewed confidence in governance is steadily being restored through visible projects and institutional reforms driven by Governor Mbah’s administration.

The G-17 Support Group further praised Governor Mbah’s forward-thinking approach to governance, particularly his insistence on efficiency, transparency, and results, which, according to the group, has set a new benchmark for leadership not only in Enugu State but across Nigeria.

Hon. Dr. Chinedu Mbah emphasized that the Governor’s achievements have validated the trust reposed in him by the people, adding that history will remember his tenure as one defined by purposeful leadership, economic rebirth, and uncompromising commitment to public service.

He therefore called on Ndi Enugu to rally solidly behind Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, urging them to reward good governance, performance, and visionary leadership with their votes come 2027, insisting that continuity remains the surest path to consolidating the massive gains already recorded under the current administration.

Describing G-17 as a well-known grassroots political mobilisation group with deep reach across communities in Enugu State, Hon.
